Jagex OSRS Marketing Design

Old School RuneScape is Jagex’s community-led version of its long-running MMO. Between 2019 and 2020 I designed and built marketing creative for the game: HTML5 display campaigns, Google UAC mobile ads and Twitch Prime illustration.

The work ran from campaign layouts and character animation through to finished banner builds in every standard size, on campaigns including Here’s to the Year and Slayer Safari.

I’m Nic Fitzgerald, and I’ve been a digital designer since 1999. I started out in the BBC’s Creative Services department (later Red Bee Media), where I became Promo Director, leading the promo team and training junior designers.

Since 2007 I’ve been freelancing as a senior digital designer for ad agencies, broadcasters and games companies – from HTML5 display campaigns for McDonald’s at Leo Burnett and a complete digital overhaul for PizzaExpress at Truant, to key art and campaigns for RuneScape at Jagex and AR experiences for Fanta and Halo at Blippar.
