Natwest Moneysense AR Game

MoneySense is NatWest’s financial education programme for schools. The brief was to bring it to life in augmented reality for 5–8 year olds: simple activity cards that unlock 3D mini-games on classroom laptops and tablets.

As UX/UI designer and game designer, I devised three games, each built around one money skill, and designed their interfaces and assets. Sell – the Book Sale Challenge: swipe books to reveal their prices and add up your takings. Save – the Piggy Bank: flick coins in to hit an exact savings goal against the clock. Spend – Spend It Right: choose from six items without going over budget, then work out the change.

Prices and targets change every round, and two difficulty levels let teachers match the game to how well their pupils know their coins.
