HALO-ELEVATE AR APP
Halo Elevate is the super-premium dog food launched in 2021 by Halo. Halo’s audience is millennial “pet moms”, and I designed a web-based AR experience for them at Blippar. It launches from a QR code on packaging, in-store displays or social posts and opens straight in the phone browser, with no app to download. A life-size animated dog appears in the user’s own space and walks them through what makes Elevate different.
I was responsible for the UI, UX and overall app design, from the user flow and wireframes to the final interactive prototype. That covered AR placement, the main menu and every content section. The brief was to build nutritional confidence and trust, and to drive trial. The client asked for four equal paths that stay simple to move between.

UX WIREFRAMES
ONE PLATFORM, ONE DOG, FOUR DOORS IN – A SIMPLE HUB THAT PUTS NUTRITION, TRANSPARENCY AND TRIAL WITHIN A TAP.
The experience starts with a tap to place a platform in the room. It becomes the hub that everything is anchored to, so the layout works in a small flat or a big garden, indoors or out. The hero dog appears at 1:1 scale, and four menu buttons form around the platform: Halo Intro, The Halo Elevate Difference, Play to Win and Ask Us. Users can take them in any order, and a back button always returns to the menu. The Elevate Difference opens Nutrition, Transparency and Product Comparison, where animated key messages and a warm voiceover bring the brand’s five nutritional pillars to life (610 million live probiotics, 90% animal protein, joint, skin and coat, heart and immunity support). In Play to Win, the dog digs up a coupon, and the offer can be tied to the retailer whose QR code was scanned. Ask Us puts a life-size Halo advisor on the platform to answer new pet parents’ common questions.
